4" x 6" Dry Point Prints
Gillian Christy began printmaking while studying in Italy in 2002. Ultimately she has found the dry-point technique a convenient way to carry a plate around on travels, and an outlet to create new work in different form. Similar to her sculpture, there is an illustrative quality in which a story is being told within the print and largely fuels imagery and ideas for sculptures. The dry-point prints pictured here were completed and eventually printed in 2007, they are all 4” x 6” printed on off-white paper.
